Take a screenshot or record your screen on your Android device

Important: Some of these steps work only on Android 11 and up.

1. Take a screenshot:

Press the

Power

and

Volume down

buttons at the same time.

Your device captures the entire screen and saves it as a photo.

If that doesn’t work, press and hold the

Power

button for a few seconds. Then tap Screenshot.

If neither of these work, go to your phone manufacturer’s support site for help.

2. Take a scrolling screenshot

Important: These steps work on devices running Android 12 and up, on most screens that allow you to scroll.

Press the

Power

and

Volume down

buttons at the same time.

At the bottom, tap Capture more.
